In the first half of April this year, Fibar Group opened a new factory located in Wysogotowo near Poznań, next to the company’s headquarters. The production capacity of the factory is about 4 million smart home devices under the Fibaro brand annually. The new plant operates in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, and for the production of smart home appliances the most modern professional machines of brands such as Yamaha, Ersa or Nordson Asymtek are used. The facility has more than 1,200 m2 of production space, 1,250 m2 of warehouse space and 1,700 m2 of office and social space. For comparison, the previous factory where Fibaro was produced was more than twice as small.
Fibar Group is a native IoT company producing and supplying intelligent building automation solutions. Fibar Group creates all Fibaro smart home appliances on its own, based on local production, which is a distinguishing feature of the company’s competitiveness. From the factory in Poland, Fibaro devices are sold on over a hundred markets – to flats and houses from Alaska to the Fiery Land, from the Azores to Kamchatka, Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai and Johannesburg.
The main channel for Fibar Group to reach its customers is a well-developed network of qualified installers and intensive cooperation with developers. Nevertheless, the company diversifies its sales channels – the producer’s smart home devices from Poznań can also be purchased from energy suppliers, telecommunication companies, technology shops and DIY networks.
Fibar Group actively develops cooperation with developers in the field of smart home packages in investments. Currently, flats equipped with Fibaro are available in the offer of such companies as: Yareal, Budimex, Marrow, Maycom, APM, Nexity, Unidevelopment or Abax.
In 2018, the value of Fibaro Sales on the Polish market recorded a 47% increase in comparison to 2017. At the same time, the number of products sold increased by 28%. Also in other markets of Central and Eastern Europe, the results of the FIBARO Group show strong growth trends: in Hungary 231%, Slovakia 830%, Serbia 162% and Russia 976%.
