Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego chooses ATM’s offer

ATM won the tender announced by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego for the provision of ICT colocation services. In the tender procedure, ATM competed with the state-owned company NASK to award the contract.

Atman’s offer met all the technical requirements specified by the Bank in the specification of material terms and conditions of the order, including those related to the location, equipment and security of the data centre. Additional services were also important, such as, among others, migration of IT equipment from the BGK head office together with a temporary transmission service ensuring stable communication between the already transferred infrastructure and resources awaiting migration.

ATM signed an agreement with BGK in June this year. The contract amounts to more than PLN 9.5m gross and will last 4 years, with an option to extend its term by four annual periods. The total value of such an extended, 8-year contract amounts to approximately PLN 17.2m gross.

BGK’s IT infrastructure will be moved from the server room in the Bank’s head office to the Warsaw data centre of the Polish operator. As a result of the agreement, ATM will place 26 rack cabinets containing IT equipment from the BGK headquarters in one of its facilities, and will guarantee the possibility of extending this environment by another 19 racks. Moreover, according to the technical specifications of the order, the Bank’s resources will be placed in a so-called “box”, i.e. a fully separated colocation space.
