A multi-cloud service called “Cloud by Asseco” has been launched. Asseco Data Systems already provides cloud computing services in the public cloud model, as a partner of global suppliers, as well as private and hybrid clouds based on its own data centers.
Asseco Group: PLN 300m from the cloud in 2018
Asseco Data Systems officially launched the “Cloud by Asseco” brand. This is a response to the growing needs of entrepreneurs for solutions based on cloud technology. The development strategy combines the existing competence and experience of Asseco in the development of cloud solutions with the opportunities offered by its own technological base and cooperation with the largest public cloud providers.
“Two years ago, Asseco Data Systems launched a mobile e-signature in the Polish market. Now we are launching a comprehensive offer under the brand name “Cloud by Asseco”. Our goal for the coming years is to become one of the leaders in the field of services related to the transition to the cloud and the use of this technology. The creation of the “Cloud by Asseco” brand is a natural step in the company’s development – in 2018 the Group’s sales revenues in this area exceeded PLN 300 million,” said Andrzej Dopierała, President of the Management Board of Asseco Data Systems.

Cloud in Poland worth PLN 1 billion
The “Cloud by Asseco” offer is based on the multi-cloud model. Asseco Data Systems is a strategic partner of global cloud providers such as Microsoft, Amazon and Oracle. The integration of solutions based on public cloud is complemented by an offer of technologically advanced solutions in the hybrid model, which, thanks to their experience and own infrastructure based on 3 data centers in Poland, are designed to meet the individual needs of our clients.
The global trend of growth in the value of the cloud services market is also more and more noticeable in Poland. The domestic cloud market is growing several times faster than the entire IT market. The demand for dedicated and hybrid cloud-based solutions is growing rapidly, among others. According to PMR data, the value of the cloud services market in Poland in 2019 will exceed PLN 1bn.
